How can we help students?

MegaClimb is a fun and rewarding outdoor activity designed to help students build confidence, make decisions, and enjoy learning in nature. Set in the heart of Sentosa island, the course features 36 obstacles across three levels, starting at just 4 metres high, making it suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to choose their own path, move at their own pace, and support one another as they explore the different elements of the course. Along the way, they’ll develop key life skills like communication, resilience, and problem-solving, all while being immersed in a safe, eco-conscious environment that promotes curiosity and connection with the natural world.

How it is relevant to MOE syllabus

The MegaClimb experience closely supports the goals of the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) syllabus, particularly in the areas of Character and Citizenship Education (CCE), Physical and Outdoor Education, and the development of 21st Century Competencies. As students navigate the course at their own pace, they learn to make independent decisions, manage challenges, and build resilience and confidence - all key aspects of CCE. Physically, the course helps develop motor skills, coordination, and spatial awareness, while also encouraging safe risk-taking and personal responsibility in a natural environment. Working together through the course promotes teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, helping students strengthen their social-emotional skills and grow into adaptable, thoughtful individuals who are connected to both their peers and the environment around them.
